Athanasius Kircher's famous 'upside down' map of Atlantis, from Mundus Subterraneus, 1669

Evidence of the lost continent of Atlantis – was Atlantis submerged 12,000 years ago? Is this what happened to earth’s lost civilization?
Atlantis: The Lost Civilization
Off the coast of Bimini in the Bahamas, ruins of megalithic structures identical to the Egyptian Pyramids have been discovered.
Similar ruins have been found off the coast of Spain, suggesting that a continent might once have stretched from Europe to the Americas, that perhaps this lost continent was Atlantis, and that it was home to an advanced civilization that perished during the last Ice Age.
What is most striking about these ruins is that the quarry marks found of them are identical to those found on the Great Pyramid in Egypt, and like their Egyptian counterparts, these giant underwater stones also depict references to the solar system and the universe beyond, bearing precise astronomical alignments.
The ruins also contain roads, like this ‘Bimini Road’
as well as domes, rectangular buildings, metallic instruments, and a statue holding a crystal containing miniature pyramids.
An opaque crystal tablet was also discovered at this site that displayed an as yet unidentified form of writing when light was passed through it.
Also of note is that the astronomical and structural characteristics of both the Bimini site and Giza are similar to those allegedly found at Tiahuanaco in Bolivia, according to some the ‘oldest city in the world’, dating back at least 12,000 years and built by a civilization now lost to history.
It should be added that conventional archaeology now dates the construction of Tiahuanaco much later. But that still doesn’t explain the Bimini structures.
Were these underwater ruins destroyed by a flood of melting ice? Are they remnants of Atlantis?
What’s your take on this abiding mystery?
We’d love you to hear from you…
