The secret history of Crop Circles, Crop Circles and the CIA, Colin Andrews and the CIA… In the late 1980s and early 1990s the CIA took a keen interest in this intriguing phemomenon. Who was doing it – aliens? Or the Russians…?
Plus … the best of this year’s already amazing crop…
Crop Circles And The CIA
When I was editor of UFO REALTY magazine some years back, one of the most intriguing interviews I ever conducted was with Colin Andrews, who at that time was the undisputed heavyweight champion of crop circles.
From the very early 1980s Colin had taken it upon himself, together with his colleague Pat Delgado, to investigate what was effectively then an entirely new phenomenon, one that attracted the attention of all comers, including the CIA (see the Colin Andrews Interview).
Crop Circles Today
These days, of course, the crop circle phenomenon has moved on, producing ever more creative and intricate designs, as well as new faces to study them.
But the question none the less remains: are crop circles ‘genuine’ or ‘hoax’?
Are they made by aliens? UFOs? Natural forces? Some other means we’ve yet to understand?
Or are they made by humans?
Let’s get the debate raging once again and get this amazing phenomenon back on the front pages, where it belongs.
If you have any photos of crop circles, or if you’ve managed to film any strange crop circle phenomena, or perhaps a crop circle being created — by one means or another — we’d love to see it…
