Interpreting the hidden meaning of dreams is probably as much a psychological practice these days as a psychic one, although sometimes psychic insight can still be helpful.
Dreams: The Interpretation
Among the most common dreams are those involving accidents, being chased or caught naked, flying, falling from a great height, or dreaming of your teeth falling out.
They say the latter is a symptom of you not being able to speak your mind or say what you really want to say in a given situation, while being chased is a sign of your insecurity at being caught for something you might have done wrong.
Falling, whether from the edge of a cliff or simply tripping over and heading towards the ground, shows apparently that you’re a control freak who finds it difficult to ‘let go’.
Evidently your emotional equilibrium is skew-whiff, but not to worry: invariably you will wake up before you hit the ground, a genetic reflex, they say, inherited from when we lived in trees—which is no doubt why they also say you’re likely to die if ever you do hit the ground!
Personally I prefer those dreams where I’m flying, seemingly without effort or anxiety—according to most psychologists this dream is a symbol of liberation, suggesting you’ve recently freed yourself from some or other burden. I like that.
As for dreams in which you suddenly find yourself naked, in a crowded high street, or worse … yes, well, best not go there. Suffice to say it’s time to sort yourself out!
Not quite sure how you might manage to video any of this, by the way. I guess we’ll trust to your creative imagination…
Failing that, feel free to discuss your dream experiences in the forums.
