English translation of Nostradamus's 'Les Propheties'

The prophecies of Edgar Cayce and Nostradamus include the predicted deaths of JFK and RFK, as well the start-date for World War III. Let’s hope 2 out of 3 is as close as they get!
Cayce and Nostradamus: Cryptic Psychics
It seems even the world’s best-known and most prolific latter-day prophets, from Nostradamus to Edgar Cayce, were unable to articulate their prophecies except by cryptic verse.
That said, it should be acknowledged that Cayce was pretty hot on the mark with his warnings of impending world war. During one of his famous ‘readings’ in 1935, four years before the start of World War II, he said: “The Austrians, Germans, and later the Japanese” will be “joining their influence”, and “the whole world, as it were, will be set on fire by the militaristic groups.” Nothing too ambiguous there, it has to be said.
But what of Nostradamus, whose cryptic quatrains, some say, are famous more for there enigmatic appeal than any inherent prophetic accuracy? With that in mind, see what you make of this one, which purports to predict the assassination of JFK.
The ancient work will be accomplished, And from the roof evil ruin will fall on the great man. They will accuse an innocent, being dead, of the deed: The guilty one is hidden in the misty copse.
In a subsequent quatrain Nostradamus goes on to foretell that: “The great man will be struck down in the day by a thunderbolt” (JFK, of course, was shot at midday); and that “another falls at night” (JFK’s brother, Bobby Kennedy, was assassinated at 1am, local time).
Nostradamus is said also to have prophesied the 911 attacks, the invasion of Iraq and, slightly more worryingly, the beginning of World War III.
Let’s hope he was wrong about that one!
