SPONTANEOUS HUMAN COMBUSTION

One of the strangest of all unexplained mysteries surely has to be Spontaneous Human Combustion, where the human body is inexplicably burnt to a cinder, with no apparent source of external ignition. Even science is baffled by this strange phenomenon.

Photographs of Spontaneous Human Combustion show the remains of bodies which have been utterly incinerated, except perhaps for random parts of the body — a foot, a leg or an arm — which have strangely survived, unburned by the searing flames that consumed the rest of the victim.

Indeed, over the past 300 years more than 200 cases of Spontaneous Human Combustion have been reported, and in most instances carpets, rugs, furniture, and in some cases clothes as well, have remained intact, not even singed, even though the victims have been burnt beyond recognition.

Spontaneous Human Combustion truly remains one of the strangest of all unexplained mysteries.

Any ideas? First-hand accounts, photos, videos … we’d love to hear from you.
